Start with permission
A recording tool cannot promise that the person broadcasting will never know about a capture. We have not verified current Tango behavior across devices or a guarantee of invisible viewer activity. Ask for permission where needed rather than relying on an assumed lack of notification.
If the creator refuses permission or the broadcast is restricted, do not use this workflow to bypass that boundary. Recfolder's public-stream workflow does not provide access to private calls or paid broadcasts.
A checklist before capture
- Confirm which broadcast and which use the creator has authorized. Permission to watch does not itself settle whether you may save or publish a copy.
- Read Tango's broadcasting guidelines and terms of use. Platform access and permitted use are separate questions.
- Choose a destination you control. Check shared devices, Telegram sessions, download folders and backup settings.
- Decide whether you need a supervised device capture or future watchlist monitoring. Neither method guarantees a complete file or invisible activity.
Request an authorized future recording
If you have permission, open the Telegram bot and use /watch username to request monitoring. The recorder checks periodically and starts after detecting an available public live. The beginning can be missed, and source availability, service interruptions and plan limits can prevent capture.
This does not recover a broadcast that ended without being recorded. To find an existing permitted file, use the archive download guide.
After delivery
Review the file before sharing it and stay within the permission you obtained. Do not publish another person's sensitive information or assume that private delivery authorizes redistribution. Read the rights guide for the limits of a general guide. Creators can use the removal form for content hosted through Recfolder.
